Easy & Transparent 7-Day Return Policy
Before you request a return at SMGems.in, please note that most of our Natural Gemstones & Jewelry are handcrafted, making each piece unique. All our products undergo a strict quality check before shipping. Returns & exchanges will only be accepted if your order is damaged during transit or if you have received the wrong product. Additionally, you are entitled to a 100% refund/return/exchange if a gemstone is proven to be synthetic/artificial by any approved or reputed gemological institute.
Important:
- No return or exchange will be accepted if you are unsure about the design, size, or color after delivery. We encourage you to make a thoughtful decision before purchasing.
- Damages due to neglect or improper usage are not covered by our Returns & Replacement Policy.
Return Procedure:
- Please contact us at support@SMGems.in within 24-48 hours of receiving your order.
- Share pictures of the damaged or incorrect items so our team can assess the issue.
- Once we have received your email and our Quality Control team authorizes the return, please return the product in its original condition.
- Returns must be requested within 7 days from the delivery date. We cannot process returns if we are not notified within this period.
- We recommend recording an unboxing video when receiving your order to claim a refund for damaged or missing items.
- Do not write terms like "Precious," "Gemstones," or "Jewelry" on the package to avoid unwanted attention and potential theft.
Conditions for Return & Exchange Eligibility:
- Authenticity or Purity Issues with the gemstone(s).
- Incorrect items delivered.
- Package lost in transit.
- Damaged items on delivery.
Exclusions for Return & Refunds:
- Incorrect or outdated delivery address.
- Custom orders (e.g., made-to-order gemstone jewelry).
- Damages caused by neglect or improper usage.
- Failed delivery attempt by our courier service.
- Package refused by the recipient.
- Incorrect sizing (be sure of your ring size before ordering).
- Products returned in used or damaged condition.
- Non-payment of custom duties (if applicable) or failure to comply with customs policies.
- Minor variations in color or design (since all our gemstones and jewelry are handcrafted, slight differences from the photos on our website are possible).
- If the gemstone/jewelry is not faulty or damaged.
Please be aware that dealers who buy back or exchange used/old gemstones may sell them to new customers without their consent. At SMGems, we are committed to providing only 100% natural and unused gemstones to our customers.
